     Rev. Samuel Whiting was baptized at Hartford, Hartford, Conn, on 24 April 1670.4,5,6 He married in Windham, Windham, Conn, on 14 September 1696 Elizabeth Adams, daughter of Rev. William Adams and Alice Bradford.7 He died at Enfield, Hartford, Conn, on 27 September 1725; He lived in Windham, but died while on a visit to Enfield. The death is recorded in Windham.8 He was buried at Enfield Street Cemetery Enfield, Hartford, Conn, on 29 September 1725.9,10

     Rev. Samuel Whiting was named in the probate inventory of his father's estate in Hartford, Hartford, Conn on 5 November 1689.11,12 Rev. Nathaniel Collins and Rev. Samuel Whiting were first cousins. Their wives were sisters.
