Samuel Wolcott was born at Wethersfield, Hartford, Conn, on 13 April 1713.3 He married Mary Wyatt, daughter of Israel Wyatt and Sarah Pratt, on 11 March 1735/36 at Wethersfield, Hartford, Conn.4 Samuel Wolcott married Sarah Sherman, daughter of Nathaniel Sherman and Rebecca Burwell, on 30 August 1759 at Conn; This was the second marriage for both. Her first married name was Boardman. He died at Conn on 11 April 1800 at age 86; Per grave marker.
