     Jabez Hamlin was born at Middletown, Middlesex, Conn, on 28 July 1709.2 He was baptized on 31 July 1709 at Middletown, Middlesex, Conn.3 He married Mary Christophers, daughter of Christopher Christophers and Elizabeth Allen, on 19 November 1729 at Middletown, Middlesex, Conn.4 Jabez Hamlin married Margaret Phillips, daughter of Capt. George Phillips and Hope Stow, on 6 December 1736 at Middletown, Middlesex, Conn.5 Jabez Hamlin married Abigail Chauncey, daughter of Rev. Nathaniel Chauncey and Sarah Judson, on 5 April 1749 at Middletown, Middlesex, Conn.6 Jabez Hamlin married Susannah Newton, daughter of Roger Newton and Mary Hooker, on 2 April 1771 at Middletown, Middlesex, Conn; She was the widow of Samuel Whittlesey.6 He died at Middletown, Middlesex, Conn, on 5 April 1791 at age 81; Per grave marker. He was buried at Riverside Cemetery Middletown, Middlesex, Conn, on 7 April 1791.7
