George Phillips and Hope Stow, on 6 December 1736 at Middletown, Middlesex, Conn.5 Jabez Hamlin married Abigail Chauncey, daughter of Rev. Nathaniel Chauncey and Sarah Judson, on 5 April 1749 at Middletown, Middlesex, Conn.6 Jabez Hamlin married Susannah Newton, daughter of Roger Newton and Mary Hooker, on 2 April 1771 at Middletown, Middlesex, Conn; She was the widow of Samuel Whittlesey.6 He died at Middletown, Middlesex, Conn, on 5 April 1791 at age 81; Per grave marker.
